Literacy for Lent:
During the six weeks of Lent,
we will be collecting books of all kinds that can be donated to
charities that help promote literacy in impoverished areas in
Connecticut and around the world.
The two charities we will be donating books to are:
Read to Grow at
www.readtogrow.org and
Reading Tree at
www.readingtree.org
Books that will be accepted are:

new or gently used books
-
no torn pages or books with
writing in them

paperbacks or hard cover books
-
fiction or nonfiction
-
children’s books or adult books
-
textbooks
-
Books on tape
-
DVDs
